Horouta waka

In Room 1 on Tuesday we had one of the people that work at the museum come out to
our school to talk about the Horouta waka. She asked use some questions and how the Horouta waka came to New Zealand. On the I found it hard t were people from a far away place called Hawaiki. The people on the Horouta waka were paoa, kiwa,Hinehākirirangi, and Hineakua  they came from Hawaiki. Hawaiki is were new zealand got its Kumura.
I found it easy to put the sand on the glue to make a waka
I found it challenging to explain about the Horouta waka.
Next time I would change my background colour.
